‘’Scars’’ represents an attempt to explore the elusive tension between the meaning of ‘’chance’’, “luck” and “randomness”. These three elements are considered to be emerging from particular forces and are being invoked as pivotal explanations of events. The project proposes an empirical analysis of the idea of luck, and occurrence through twelve individuals, analysing in parallel, the dyadic relationship between the “intentional”, which springs from the universal idea of Free Will, and the “accidental”, both being encrypted on the human body.
